Hoo noes

I still reimagine our parting moment,

Our lips parted but we both withdrew,

Yes, I hold onto things,

I hold tight,

Until they break,

Unto shards,

Into fragments,

Down to gravel,

Ground to dust,

Until my hand is empty,

Except for the crescent moon nicks,

Filling with blood from the release of my nails,

Surrounded in the pale, drained flesh of my palm,

Palm tree bae reminders of your passing,

My thoughts flitting,

Flashes of long nights,

Fantastical skies,

The moon howling at us,

The Stars streaking up the windshield,

Holding hands as we walk in seperate dimensions of color and sound.
